The Revelation

The Revelation

The shining light is the revelation
Conceals the disloyalty and exposes the distraction
We are but mortals with sins together
Learning their indulgence through artificial virtue.

Though we may believe in integrity
In decency and honesty of social beings
For a moment we forget we can be evil
The ache hurt and harm we can inflict.

Suffering caused by thought
Reveals the desire to cause gaping wounds
The unguarded offense confirms insult
Leaving fissures in the association.

Close the wound and restore the untruth
Learn the sins and doubt the story
We cannot sail stormy nights forever
Trust and confidence will never reappear.

Strength of will and faith
Forms the clutter in the mind
Forever confusing and confounding
Until insanity seems set to appear.

Companionship Respects Comfort

Companionship Respects Comfort

Companionship respects comfort
Resting a tired soul under support
Anger and resentment breed sickness
Commitment and honesty prefer wellness.

We live on the edges of the precipice
Renowned for our solitude
Living loving as best we can
Bringing meaning into the senses.

None are so bold
As the person refusing apologies
Set the mind free to roam
Releasing the anger within.

Companionship and comfort combine
Restoring faith and protecting self
Once the service to another delivers
Living the life becomes reality.

Be gone to the unpleasantness
Goodbye to the solemn existence
We want to be happy again
To be free to enjoy a heart alive.

Those that rejoice in existence
Reap the reward of consciousness
To live and love again
We see ultimate love as harvested.

Vague Promises

Vague Promises

Serious shifts in allegiance
Breaks the faithfulness of adherence
Bring the disloyalty to the fore
Create a space for an uncared sore
Void the meaning of care
Reject the feeling of love to bear
Nothingness renders emptiness in state
To hate the future turns of fate.

Sorrowful it may be
To be alone requires a loud decree
We live on the threshold of vacant promises
With meaningless atonement for hazy torrents
Never has there been an apology too clear
To loudly assert an innocent dear
Clear the various vices we think
For if only one survives then we sink.

Communicate Effect

Communicate Effect

Technology as we have never seen
E-mail, cell phone and even twittering teens
We greet the divide with astonished silence
As we learn to live with the confounding devices.

Send the mail or post the snails
Hush the noise and sms the tales
Tweet the event all over town
Or blog your eventful diary down.

Use the technology to air your views
Or abuse the scrutiny and behold the news
We are being monitored from every corner
Lest we forget we cannot be stronger.

Let us use the device for the good
To touch and feel and order food
We can e-mail and call loved ones
To care and tell them we love them tons.

Reserved though we may be
Touchy feely forever free
E-mail me now for I need to see
The true nature of you secretly.

Living in Boundaries

Living in Boundaries

A current belief that persists
Through a notion of independence
Coupled with a desire for adventure
Outside the edges of social acceptance
Muddles the orderliness of moral boundaries
Leaving the periphery borderless and forbidding.

There are no solitary beliefs that belong
Or independence without certain liability
Adventure is personally subjective at best
And responsibility becomes total answerability
Moral boundaries form to order
Living and learning and profiting too.

Upheaval levels the imperfect sphere
Flattening the circle of virtuous ideals
Implosions cause the shattering effect
Forever dividing the enjoyable gains
Joy turns to vile malevolence
And happiness turns to ether.

As lively breathing on a new crest
We overcome adversity and start afresh
Nothing gained from previous dips
We seek new waves of privileged trips
All we need is a fresh dawn
To rejoice and let contentment be born.

A New Day to Breathe

A New Day to Breathe

The intense light of the morning sun
Its rays reaching out of the offing
Heralds a bright new day
With expectation heart warming
And thoughts of travel to distant lands
A combination that is passionate
To begin a life full of anticipation.

A cloud on the horizon
A distant rumbling of sorts
Signals the start of another strife
Far removed from a relaxed pace
Setting the tone for an epic clash
A darkness looming
Chasing away the composed quiet.

Sudden winds blow away
A cloudiness gone astray
We have an arsenal of arms
To fight this serious breach
Of emotional and physical detachment
A daunting task indeed
Surviving the toxic wings on a steed.

Darkness to Light

Darkness to Light

Let us leave this life of yoke
Of servitude and apologies in great quantities
Where money is causing pain to others
As excuses as it yields no rewards.

We should have obligations and responsibility
Without prejudice to one another
For when a single strife ensues
Remember we are family all together.

Nobody has to be a sunderer
Without proper reference to one another
We have but a single purpose
To live life as gratitude to oneself.

To see others in a different light
When caring and loving separate
To rejoice when we are in pain
Is destructive in the extreme.

Read me a poem that surrenders
Life’s negative values combined socially
I have a constant yearning
To be free of these shackles.

Do not be discouraged
By living the scenes
It’s in the darkness
That light is best seen.

Hope for a New Beginning

Hope for a New Beginning

The slight winter wind slid over the sea
Over the pier and over the walkway
Making slight howling noises around the pylons
Leaving stubborn chills in its thin wake.

The sea was calm and serene
The ripples reflecting the distant lights
Small waves breaking on the shore
In white water and fishermen galore.

We spoke of nature’s wonder and joy
Of dreams on a wispy cloud filled sky
Finding comfort in the warmth of touch
Leaving behind the worries of much.

There is a place to be
Where serious banter is happy and free
Thoughts of happy times fill the emptiness
And builds a bridge for togetherness.

I love this refreshing time
For a fun filled evening with you
You are a shining star
Brilliant through the cloud filled sky.

We have this time to cherish
To remind us that there is hope
To create a new beginning
From the ashes of a dying lope.

Goodbye My Love

Goodbye My Love

It’s time to say goodbye
To you that I love
It’s time to say thank you
To you that changed my love.

I loved you
And wished it was different
This love is unbearable
As I come to terms with it.

I’ve lived as best as possible
I’ve helped and I have loved
I do not need this heartache
To take me down and out.

Forgive me if I have sinned
For one and all I apologise
It was not my intention
To cause any dissention.

I hope you all live again
As I have never done
For to me this love
Has all been said and done.

Try to find peace
As I have never found
This love is all but over
Seeing what we have done.

Faith

Faith

Serious issues of faith
Set this life apart
From the moment of impact
To the eventual drowning of the heart.

Lessen the burden of one’s sins
For like the setting of the sun
Our consciousness can be cleansed
By the rising sun.

We have but one spirit
Lodged in our conscious mind
It can deliver a serious blow
To separate a devious mind.

As we become aware of betrayal and lust
We learn to survive this broken trust
To reform and recover requires a might
To forgive and forget is a delight.

To break a promise to a faith
And live by promises of new
Is a dereliction of duty
To the ones you knew.

Leave the door open
For we need to peek
At faith that survives
Even after we sleep.

Breaking or Building

Breaking or Building

Look what we have done
To a lifetime of construction
Leaving behind a gaping hole
Where once stood a family of fun.

Little did we realize
The damage that we can cause
To listen to others desires
And renege on vows held in clause.

We once were a pair
That lived on passion and pause
To see us now as despaired
In restless flames restored.

Leaving behind a legacy
Of foul mouthed hatred
This life was once a bonus
With precious moments of sorts.

We start our family by building
To achieve a blissful state
Just to see someone uncaring
Remove this cupid state.

Breaking or building
We cannot achieve stability
If one part of the pair
Prefers breaking to the building.

Consideration

Consideration

Singing our praises as we have done
Suggests a melancholy spirit
We must have expectations and plans
To revive a dwindling script.

Nothing can be said for sadness as severe
As a battered mind tortured by remorse
To have a scathing observation
Of lives filled with emotion and thought.

To swallow the bitter pill
With a glassful of remorse
Sees a scathing personality
Emerge from the depth of source.

Letting go of past transgressions
Relieves an aching psyche
And cures a gaping gash
In a mind altered mishmash.

Setting goals of expectations
Is a planned prerequisite
To a life filled with happiness
And serious togetherness.

We are all individuals
With emotion and attention
For like every individual
We seek consideration.

Treasure

Treasure

Life provides small treasures
Like diamonds in the wind
Like a soothing hail stone
And a scattering of leaves in a whirlwind.

We have to take this time
To appreciate these wonders
We have so little time left
And a moment that ponders.

Optimistic and cheerful
Is what I want to be
As I hope for the best
In whatever I can see.

We sit at the crossroads
Of life’s myriad blues
And wish we could find direction
In mournful colourful hues.

There is no such blossom
As a life full of treasures
We hanker down as best we can
To cherish the prizes of pleasures.

Sometimes we wish we had it all
To hear the truth being told
And one can gather a loving wish
Seized in a sizzling hold.

Goodbye

Goodbye

It’s time to say goodbye
To everyone that I love
It’s time to say thank you
To everyone that changed my love.

I love you all
And wish it was different
This life is unbearable
As I come to terms with it.

I’ve lived life as best as possible
I’ve helped and I have loved
I do not need this heartache
To take me down and out.

Forgive me if I have sinned
For one and all I apologise
It was not my intention
To cause any dissention.

I hope you all live again
As I have never done
For to me this life
Has all been said and done.

Try to find peace
As I have never found
This life is all but over
Seeing what I have sung.

Starting Over

Starting Over

Trying to come to terms
With loneliness and change
This life is fast becoming a consequence
Of another’s desires and wishes
To remain as unchanged.

We care about people we love
We care about people we like
We even care about people we know
But to care as pretence to love
Evokes a deep sense of deception.

Conditional affection in itself is betrayal
We either love or loathe
The median is futile
We cannot pretend to care
For pretence is another’s hurt.

Leave the one you loathe
For we have little precious time
To find love and happiness
And the trusting relationship
In a new beginning.

Do not be discouraged
By one flawed relationship
There is a starting point
Where new treasures await
And we shall have second options.

Beacon of Hope

Beacon of Hope

The memory of forgotten days
Of blurry and fragmented thoughts
The response to harsh disappointment
And realization of bonds lost.

The changing landscape of affiliations
The seriousness of the shift
Long serving connections and links
Uprooted and displaced in time.

A shining light materialises
Of someone who listens
She clears a hazy existence
And rescues a damaged being.

Gratefulness and gratitude
Will never be adequate
For a soul so powerfully proficient
Who can settle the hurt.

To be indebted to such a prevailing personality
One can only hope
That she receives a ton of treasures
To soothe her giving soul.

There is a loving nature
Wrapped in a blanket of comfort
Who is a beacon of hope
In this desolate mind.

Togetherness

Togetherness

The sunlit beach through the window
The beautiful people in the surf
The shaded spots in demand
Colourful towels and costumes
The view is majestic.

Lucky people in the hotel room
Savouring their moments together
The mood is one of pleasure and relaxation
Curled into a sphere of fun
Making memories that last a lifetime.

We have a longing to be together
As we embrace the joy of togetherness
Connecting and uniting a burning desire
Fuelled by a compelling seed to happiness
The significance of the passion is immense.

I love this brief respite
From truth we emerge
To find the binding force
Of a love forlorn and desolate
Recovering a sense of belonging.

We savour the time together
As we watch the waves tumble
Too soon the elation ends
And dreams switch sides
Life returns to witness reality.

Comeback

Comeback

We have our demons
Whittling away at our sanity
The sins we commit
Draining our soul.

Leaving home-made madness behind
We can force abatement
As we rise above the transgressions
Leaving paths to virtue.

Gossip and innuendo
Tends the wicked minds
Of weak-willed intellects
As if we succumb to allusion.

There is no lucid explanation
For the opaque promises
Of people with concealed plans
We have to learn the evil.

Sometimes love is insufficient
Trust is non existent
Support is wobbly at best
And associations cannot be cemented.

Do not be discouraged
For we have sturdy legs
To carry us over these trying spells
And through the waves of surges.

Balance

Balance

The rain tapped softly against the glass
Cold weather was approaching fast
Winter nurtures its cold rule
As we yearn for spring to revisit.

The rain is sharp now
Swiftly gaining momentum
Lightning flashed across the sky
Thunderous applause followed.

A sudden calm engulfed the scene
Bringing relief from the gloomy darkness
This respite is but brief
As we swallow the obscure brightness.

Laughter and enjoyment echoes
As pleasurable as a boring space
The extent of the damage is apparent
As the rain launches mercilessly.

We live life in spasms
Days filled with sunshine and thunder
Nights filled with calm and rain
And the fleeting sense of well being.

Tomorrow will bring fresh hope
That we will have clear times
Nothing can balance the storms
And judge the starlit skies.
