Lessons from Life

Lessons from Life

Bring out the Emotion
With Joy and Tears
For without it we do not have the Human Condition

Take out the Trash
For with it we reek of Decay and Rot
And without it we smell of roses and lavender

Throw out all Bad Habits
And live life free of Guilt and Shame
Because life goes on with or without

Bring on the Troubles
For we need to see the Thorns
In Hiding or Secret the Thorns can Deflate

Take on the Challenges
For life to be fulfilled
We need to be reminded that life is worthwhile

Throw caution to the wind
And live every day like it is your last
But plan ahead for a rainy season

Bring the good times to the present
As the present is the only time we have
The future is unpredictable and the past is history

Take up the offer of someone you love
And watch the perks unfold
Just like a daily joyride

Throw out bad memories from your heart
And watch as the day sparkles
For good times are worth remembering

Many may scoff, jibe and ridicule
But if your heart can forgive
And your mind can absorb and release
Then no matter the issues
Survival is individual and lasting
None can point
And none can pinpoint
For it is in ourselves only
To make someone feel special
And loved
A feeling that is as powerful as the sunlight on our face
And the rain on our back.

Elixir

Elixir

Let’s blend together on a focal point of admiration
Your bubbling enthusiasm and bubbly nature
Can provide an invisible but detectable pleasantness
Your lissome and lithe murmuring can provide deep affection
And be the panacea.

I need a talisman
For a summery and sumptuous existence
And an umbrella for the woebegone days
For even in vestigial amounts
Your love can be the panacea.

Even a ripple has an effect on the banks of a river
And provide a scintilla of longing
To a redolent future
Serendipity is waiting everywhere
And is the answer or panacea.

There is a wherewithal
For in the waving and inclination
A quintessential idea can be born
And be the incipient to a cozy nook
And provide a panacea.

We can have an opulent love
This can be evocative and pleasant
And the glamour can cause us to gambol
And imbue an epiphany
The panacea is staring us in the face.

Today we may be demure
And we may need a bungalow in a bucolic site
Because love can be the solution
To a flowering and blooming life
With gossamer and halcyon days.

Let it Begin.

Corporeal

Corporeal

Your friendship and companionship
Your conversation and chat
Is like a beacon in a starlit sky
I look forward to a glimpse of you
Hearing from you and being with you.

You are an exceptional individual
Elite and exclusive in a unique style
There are none to equate
All the ideals encompassed
In your singular form.

Absence requires might
Presence is comfortable and tranquil
Freedom from stress is an achievement
Contact is ideally suited
Attainment of bliss is an idyllic setting.

I lament the passing of time
In your present poise
There is no other suited one
Or pointed ideas
Conveying the message of love.

I believe in corporeal contact
To bind the emotive spirit
We live life in unpaid debts
When evolving improves sense
Enhancing the physical space.

Changed Seasons

Changed Seasons

Autumn is upon us
The ambiance is cooler now
Activities and actions seem more intense
As we prepare for the change.

Late summer was a happy time
We had laughter fun and excitement
Everything was new and precious
I was happy this time.

As we approach winter
The mood is a somber one
Subdued tones reach forward
We stall momentum.

The expectation of seasons
Ought to brighten with age
The truth of time next spring
Will reveal the real change.

The years were kind
The seasons danced
Tomorrow there will be celebration
In the midst of adversity.

I will be happy again soon
As the winter of sadness ends
Favourable conditions conspire
To make ideal this din.

Giving

Giving

There is a fissure in my spirit
A breach in my heart
And an abyss in my life
I need to fill this yawning chasm
With a feeling that’s robust
Fierce and formidable.

I have the kit
The tools and the being
Yet I yearn for the hushed
Unspeaking soundless passion
That befalls the sparingly obvious
Search for the perfect feeling.

Remind me at a later step
That my angst was unfounded
When you succumb to the song
The profits of companionship
Are unwavering in its desire
For warmth compassion and love.

I await the day
When I can live freely
With a resolute and purposeful
Link to a physical state of bliss
This life has to have an abundance
Of feelings and love for substance.

Survival is Change

Survival is Change

The serenity of the morning
Validates my good disposition
I have an aching sensation
Where once emptiness resided.

The desire is intense
To be close to someone
She has changed the loneliness
  Laughter and friends flourish.

The autumn morning sun shines
Its golden rays slide through the cloud
There is passion present
Aromatic in its redolent scent.

I wish forward momentum
Will enrich the spirit
 Affection will become irresistible
And caring will replace.

I am a part of the social
Survival is change
New perfume and attire
Rewards are aplenty.

Bonds are being cemented
Friendship develops more yearning
I know there will be warmth
The loneliness is saturated.
