The Precious Bond

There goes a saying

That nothing is as precious

As the bond between parent and child

This saying is true.

Another saying goes

Children will be independent

This is also true

But the dependence and bond is never lost

Precious ties abound

Where there is love abundance

So although you may heave and sigh

Loving relationships thrive.

There is nothing more secure

Than the knowledge that a parent

Loves you for who you are

With neither malice nor dissemble.

So love somebody with all your valour

And do not forget to tell them every day.
