Vague Promises

Vague Promises

Serious shifts in allegiance
Breaks the faithfulness of adherence
Bring the disloyalty to the fore
Create a space for an uncared sore
Void the meaning of care
Reject the feeling of love to bear
Nothingness renders emptiness in state
To hate the future turns of fate.

Sorrowful it may be
To be alone requires a loud decree
We live on the threshold of vacant promises
With meaningless atonement for hazy torrents
Never has there been an apology too clear
To loudly assert an innocent dear
Clear the various vices we think
For if only one survives then we sink.
