Comeback

Comeback

We have our demons
Whittling away at our sanity
The sins we commit
Draining our soul.

Leaving home-made madness behind
We can force abatement
As we rise above the transgressions
Leaving paths to virtue.

Gossip and innuendo
Tends the wicked minds
Of weak-willed intellects
As if we succumb to allusion.

There is no lucid explanation
For the opaque promises
Of people with concealed plans
We have to learn the evil.

Sometimes love is insufficient
Trust is non existent
Support is wobbly at best
And associations cannot be cemented.

Do not be discouraged
For we have sturdy legs
To carry us over these trying spells
And through the waves of surges.
