Beacon of Hope

Beacon of Hope

The memory of forgotten days
Of blurry and fragmented thoughts
The response to harsh disappointment
And realization of bonds lost.

The changing landscape of affiliations
The seriousness of the shift
Long serving connections and links
Uprooted and displaced in time.

A shining light materialises
Of someone who listens
She clears a hazy existence
And rescues a damaged being.

Gratefulness and gratitude
Will never be adequate
For a soul so powerfully proficient
Who can settle the hurt.

To be indebted to such a prevailing personality
One can only hope
That she receives a ton of treasures
To soothe her giving soul.

There is a loving nature
Wrapped in a blanket of comfort
Who is a beacon of hope
In this desolate mind.
